What's Next for Christian Authors on Tour?

Since 2OO8, Christian Authors on Tour has provided a venue for Christian fiction and non-fiction authors to use their writing as a tool for Christian ministry. Our journey started two years ago and will end this December!

In 2O11, Christian Authors on Tour will embark on a planing year to prepare for a 2O12 relaunch of a smaller, more structured tour of Christian fiction and non-fiction authors. I am asking everyone for intercessory prayer. I am also seeking individuals [non-authors and authors, alike] who are interested in serving on the planning team. The planning team will be responsible for standing in the gap for the 2O12 Tour, raising funds, budgeting, recruiting a smaller, more focused group of Tour participants and soliciting corporate sponsors.

This is a serious commitment that will begin January 2O11 and end August 31, 2O12. You will will be expected to participate in monthly conference calls, read and respond to regular email exchanges, and attend [at your own expense] at least two face-to-face quarterly planning meetings.

If you are interested in joining the 2O11 planning committee, please email lpinder@thetakeactionnetwork.com your resume and a two - three paragraph statement explaining the following:

[1] your reason for joining the planning team;
[2] your explanation regarding the impact of writing as a tool for Christian ministry; and
[3] your description of the competencies you have that will enhance the impact of the 2O12 Tour.

Deadline to submit your information for the 2O12 Planning Committee is January 15, 2O1O!

NOTE: If you are an author, your participation on the 2O11 planning team does not automatically guarantee your participation in the 2O12 Tour.

If you are an aspiring Christian writer and/or author looking for structured ways to sharpen your craft and/or grow your book ministry, consider joining a new network of Christian authors/writers [www.christianauthorsontournetwork.com] scheduled to launch in 2O11!

The Christian Authors on Tour Network [Christian AOT Network] is a place for you to share resources, meet other authors/writers who are on FIRE for God and committed to using their writing as a tool for Christian ministry!

If you are interested in hosting a professional development teleconference workshops and/or webinars for network members, email the following to lpinder@thetakeactionnetwork.com:

[1] resume;
[2] one page description of your proposed teleconference workshop and/or webinar that includes specific outcomes and benchmarks of measurement;
[3] a one -two paragraph bio that speaks to your ability to facilitate the proposed teleconference workshop and/or webinar; and
[4] a referral list of at least ten people [names, email addresses, telephone numbers] who might be interested in paying $25 to participate online in your proposed teleconference workshop and/or webinar. NOTE: You are responsible for ensuring that at least seven people call-in to participate in your scheduled teleconference workshop and/or log-in to participate in your scheduled webinar in order to receive the promised stipend.

If selected to conduct a teleconference and/or webinar for Christian AOT Network members, you will earn $75 for every workshop you facilitate! Christian AOT Network members who are selected to conduct a teleconference and/or webinar will earn $1OO for every workshop they facilitate!
